Submission Guidelines:

 

If you would like a chance to write a story, and perform on stage at Hollywood Fringe Fest 2015 please follow the directions below:

 

Please submit a personal essay approximately 1200 to 1500 words. Stories should have a begining, middle and an end with no meandering trails. All stories must be original and about the author, in other words we are looking for true stories of every day life! What's it like for you to be a nurse in society? What's it like to be a hypochondriac? What's it like to be both?  We are seeking stories that would take our audience on a roller coaster ride of emotions, stories that make you laugh, cry and of course cringe! All submissions must be 8-10 minutes in length, submitted in word format. 

 

We are seeking 30 storytellers: 15 Nurses and 15 Hypochondriacs.

 

If your story is chosen, you will have a chance to attend a storytelling seminar taught by Ersilia Pompilio along with other professional storytellers. You will also recieve coaching on how to tell your story on stage and to a live audience.
